Budapest, 2025 – Ernitec, in partnership with AV integration specialist Chromasound Plc., has completed a major outdoor display modernization project at Corvin Palace, one of Budapest’s most prominent shopping and leisure destinations. The project marks another milestone in Ernitec’s growing portfolio of high-performance display solutions for retail and hospitality environments across Europe.
As part of a comprehensive renovation of the historic mall building -which includes the addition of an extensive food court and venue hall -the project owners sought to elevate the visitor experience through modern, impactful visual communication. The challenge was to find a display solution capable of delivering vibrant, high-quality content outdoors, day and night, regardless of weather conditions.
Traditional approaches to outdoor signage typically involve purchasing a standard display panel and enclosing it in a custom-built housing with fans, filters, and additional components. This method adds cost and complexity, increases maintenance requirements, and often compromises long-term performance. For Corvin Palace, a more integrated and reliable solution was needed.
Ernitec responded with a fully integrated 86-inch outdoor display system, purpose-built for the demands of a central urban location like Budapest. Unlike conventional setups, the Ernitec monitors are factory-sealed, all-in-one units tested for harsh outdoor conditions -requiring no additional housing, ventilation systems, or complex assembly on site.
The displays combine industrial-grade durability with high-brightness visual performance, maintaining consistent image quality even under direct sunlight. With vandal-proof construction and an IP-rated enclosure, the monitors are designed to perform reliably in public spaces with minimal servicing needs.
The installed displays present promotional content to visitors at the building’s entrance, contributing to a modern and upscale image for the shopping center.
