Description

The Asguard D7 series incorporates our MIFARE®  card reader with Keypad and a genuine Safran Morpo Fingerprint Scanner. The D7 is uniquely designed in a semi-recessed  configuration allowing the finished mounting to be very low profile for a biometric device. The enclosure is both rugged and stylish: with fully encapsulated electronics, the D7 is suitable for outdoor use. With it’s anodized aluminium surround, the D7 offers a high level of visual style and appeal.

 

Interoperability

The D7 contact-less card reader operates using international ISO, interoperability standards including ISO14443A, making it compatible with many popular access control systems.

 

Key Security

The MIFARE®  card technology utilised by the D7 requires a matched key in the card and the reader for data to transmit. This authentication key is a highly secure 64bit key which can be customised per site.

Dual Tech

The reader can use both the MIFARE®  and the Prox technology, ideal to taking over old systems.

 

MIFARE Classic® 1K/4K

Employs a proprietary protocol compliant to 1-3 of ISO/IEC 14443 Type A, with an NXP proprietary security protocol for authentication and ciphering.

 

MIFARE Plus®

Drop-in replacement for MIFARE Classic® 1K/4K with certified security level (AES 128 based) and is fully backwards compatible with MIFARE Classic® 1K/4K .

 

MIFARE® DESFire® EV1

Our smart cards comply to ISO/IEC 14443-4 Type A with a mask-ROM operating system from NXP. The 'DES' in the name refers to the use of DES, 2K3DES, 3K3DES and AES hardware cryptographic engine for securing transmission data; while 'Fire' is an acronym for 'Fast, innovative, reliable and enhanced'.
